0830 King’s birthday parade. Battalion parade in Cairo for march past. Salute was taken by HBM Ambassador H.E. the Right Honourable Lord Killearn PC, GCMG, CB, MVO.

Remainder of day holiday for all troops.

Brigade signals exercise “Formidable”. C and D Companies left camp for nine days intensive training area Cairo Map 80/60 MR 629802.
