0630 Started moving to new area.

Normal routine and training.


9th August 1944 - 12th August 1944

A and B Companies on four days training in area 8869. Remainder in camp area.


13th August 1944

Normal training. A and B Companies return to camp.


14th August 1944

1400 Battalion paraded for talk by Army Commander General Leese KCB, OBE, DSO.


15th August 1944

Preparations for move.


16th August 1944

2015 Battalion embossed for move to new area.


17th August 1944

0630 Arrived new area. Battalion HQ 465106.


18th August 1944

1845 Battalion on BOE exercise on river crossing.


19th August 1944

1000 Returned from exercise.

Normal training.

0200 Start of Battalion exercise with tanks.

1000 Exercise finishes, remainder of day resting.

2200 Battalion move to new area.
